The media room complete with full wet bar, bar seating area for 6, wine cellar, and huge comfortable sofas that can accommodate more than ten, has all you could ever want as far as entertainment factor goes. It’s always the perfect time for a night in when you have a near-theater quality space in which to spend it. Take in a movie on the 150 inch screen with 4k projector—it’s like you’re right there in the action. There’s also an extensive iTunes library as well as XBOX gaming system.

For those who want to begin their morning with an invigorating workout, Casa Colmena offers a comprehensive gym experience. More than just a typical “home gym” this facility is equipped with the latest in hi-tech equipment; you are sure to work up a sweat, which is why the gym is also outfitted with its own full bath and shower.

Kitchen

One top-of-the-line kitchen and an extensive outdoor BBQ area with alfresco seating for eight make for a fantastic entertaining experience. State-of- the-art doesn’t even begin to describe what you can expect. Inside you will find a fully appointed kitchen complete with stainless appliances, as well as countertops galore. The kitchen also features a cold room and 11 foot commercial grade fridge and freezer; this is where our staff hand picks only the best quality daily groceries not to mention the catch of the day. Watch the magic of our first- rate team as they prepare you the ultimate feast direct from the chef’s table! And outside, it gets even better.

With a large stainless grill, refrigerator, sink and even an Italian wood fire pizza oven all under a shaded gazebo, you will be hard pressed to ever get anyone to leave the space.

Living room

To call it simply a living room is dramatically understating what this space truly is.

The deep blues and crystalline teals of the ocean are reflected in the tranquil décor. An abundance of couches and chairs, solid wood slab tables, exotic lamps that encapsulate the breeziness of tropical living, cap off a what is certain to become one of the most frequented spaces of your stay here.

Dining area

Step up from the living room into a remarkably appointed dining area. Wide open and with access to tremendous views, guests dine in one of the most inviting rooms Casa La Colmena has to offer. An expansive natural blue marble top table accommodating 14 is accented by plush chairs that are as comfortable as they are chic.

Whether you just want to relax, lounge poolside on your private artificial beach, listen to the gentle waves as they lap onto the shoreline, or you intend to do some serious entertaining, Casa Colmena’s outdoor spaces are unparalleled anywhere on Punta Mita. At nighttime it is fully illuminated with an intricately designed lighting system, so that guests can swim, dine, drink and relax bathed in the soft glow of Casa Colmena under the moonlight.
